"In May of 2011, my family lost everything in the tornado that hit Joplin, MO. When my family and I had nothing, strangers fed us. Nothing has ever moved me more than having someone who I did not know offer me the help I so desperately needed. It was incredibly moving. They didn't do it for praise, they did it because a fellow man was in need. In this spirit, I sought to give back. I know firsthand the power of altruism by a good samaritan. I want to pay it forward."
