We have exciting news!

On October 20, 2016, Rise Up was awarded a $15,000 grant from ConAgra. The funds will be used to cover operating expenses as we continue to support Washington Junior High in Bentonville, AR and expand our program to include the elementary school in Lincoln, AR.

"These funds come at a perfect time as we had already begun work on expanding to Lincoln. We have actually outgrown our current capacity and plan to use a small portion of the grant to purchase a trailer to enable us to support our expansion efforts," commented Aaron Dick.

"There is an immense need in our community. This area actually leads the state in food insecurity. One in four Northwest Arkansas residents suffers from food insecurity, and many of those are children," said Drew Johnson. "I can't thank ConAgra enough for their support of our organization as we continue to battle child hunger in Northwest Arkansas."
